The Kids Choice Café serves a well-balanced breakfast and lunch daily. A menu of daily entrée choices will be sent home. Please note the menus are subject to change without notice.
We use a computer system in our school cafeteria that assigns each student an individual meal account number. We encourage parents/guardians to prepay into this account. Checks are accepted in the school office and should be made payable to Hickman Elementary School Cafeteria. Make a note on the check if you are paying for more than one child with their names and room numbers. If paying with cash, please do not send large bills, as we do not have change available.
Place payment in a sealed envelope, and provide the following information on the front:
- Student's name and room number
- Amount enclosed
Parents can also prepay into their child's account with a credit card using the district's PayPAMS system.
During mealtime in the cafeteria, students enter their meal account number on a keypad. The cost of the meal is then deducted from their account. Alternatively, students can pay with cash.
Please note the cost of breakfast and lunch:

Please make sure your child has lunch or money for lunch. The office is not able to make lunch loans. |
Free and Reduced-Price Meals
Families may apply for free and reduced-price lunches by submitting an application to the district's Food Services department. All members of a family attending any district school can be listed on one application. Though every student in the district receives an application, parents need only complete one.
